Addressing the mold I found in the laundry room. Looks like there may have been a leak at the water discharge, causing the particle board under the vinyl to become soaking wet.

Dave got all the holes in the kitchen patched!

Jason making progress with the tiles!

And I am making progress re-routing the exhaust vent.

and the paneling back up the right side with drywall.

and finally the left side as well.

need to re-route exhaust pipe

busy at work. The plumbers are coming tomorrow and Thursday to replace all the water lines. I need to get all the pipes exposed before they arrive. Pushing hard to get everything ready.
been very busy the past days opening up more walls and removing tub to expose more water lines…

Taking out the shower was not for the fainted heart. It did not want to come out. In the end a trip to HomeDepot and getting a heavy duty diamond blade for the reciproc saw did the trick.

i got to think that the divider giving the toilet privacy was total nonsense. It had to go. Good call!

unfortunately the water lines go under the floor across. So the vanity needs to be removed. Maybe I can save it and put it back afterwards?

this is the current water in the line. Yuck! So happy all the lines are being completely replaced!

interesting that only one line goes to the other side of the shower. The other line comes from across. We never code like this, or do we? Hmm!

now I need to expose the lines going to the cabinet…

feverishly tracing all the water lines throughout the house. I wish I had taken more pictures. It was extremely tedious with a lot of detective work.
