
Last minute decision to remove the carpet in front of the fireplace and fill with hardwood floor. The carpet would have always dictated the furniture layout. Time will tell whether this was a good decision – right now I think it was.

Finally got the subfloor out. Doesn’t look complicated, though it was heavily nailed and also glued. Well sealed as there was no visible damage underneath.

Placing a new subfloor was just formality.

But then found more mold! Aargh. Already started cleaning up…







Tate’s shower door arrived. Unfortunately with one tiny scratch. Will need to call Kohler and see what can be done.



Addressing the mold I found in the laundry room. Looks like there may have been a leak at the water discharge, causing the particle board under the vinyl to become soaking wet.






Dave got all the holes in the kitchen patched!

busy at work. The plumbers are coming tomorrow and Thursday to replace all the water lines. I need to get all the pipes exposed before they arrive. Pushing hard to get everything ready.
