Tuesday Texturing

-
Carpets are drying
We are staying out of the house today to let the carpets dry. Nonetheless, lots of work happening at the apartment, where we are packing up as much as we can into moving boxes.
-
Busy Wednesday

I vacuumed all the carpets throughout the house.

Then Mike @ Anderson Carpets steamed away.

Kanway finished the smaller attic above the garage and the window sill in the dining room.

With the help of Paul, I closed the day finishing the laundry room subfloor.

Busy Tuesday

Another busy day with 8 contractors. Kanway continued to chip away at the attic. Wallner here to install all remaining faucets, connect toilets and showers. I finished clearing out everything out of every room with a carpet. Almost everything, just a few minor things left.
Last thing of the day is taking the broken laundry room threshold out, then KillZ the laundry room.

Busy Monday

Nine contractors are at the house today. Dave and Sam are back painting. Mike and crew are here to repair carpets upstairs. Kanway crew is here to remediate possible molds in the attic. I am busy working on Tate’s bathroom, master bathroom, laundry room, and then garage door which needs a new threshold.

Closed the day with a coat of KillZ in the laundry room.

Working…

I didn’t take many pictures, but I worked yesterday and today to clear all the rooms upstairs so that carpets can be repaired first thing Monday. I then prepped the bathtub so it can be put back, then made an attempt to clean the porcelain. Mostly successful, but I still have work to do. I also added barrier to the open laundry room wall so Dave can put up drywall on Monday.

Master shower

I opened up the wall so we can add another line for the overhead rain shower. Then drilled a 3″ hole through the porcelain for the diverter. I think my cut looks much nicer than the existing one below!?

Laundry room mold, cont’

Checked behind the drywall to make sure that mold did not grow up the wall. Applied several coats of Concrobium, then Killz to all affected areas and margins beyond. Then started to apply Killz to perimeters.
